Youth Parliament

The Youth Parliament is an annual event in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) that helps students learn about India’s parliamentary system. The event takes place at three levels: regional, zonal, and national. The Youth Parliament aims to: Help students understand how the Indian parliament works, Develop leadership skills, Promote civic awareness, Help students understand democratic principles, and Provide students with insights into governance and policy issues. The event mimics the functioning of a real parliament, with students participating in parliamentary-style debates, discussions, and decision-making processes.
